This week we had been working very hard to have as soon as possible an usable version of Cormoran. There are only a few pending issues to release next version. You can find the roadmap here.
Hopefully next week we will announce the Cormoran 0.1 release :)
Then you better use a sql toolkit like sqlalchemy for your saving needs. Your code is at least SQL Injection vulnerable
